What is a Limb Deformity?
Limb deformities are structural bone misalignments, which can be angular (bow legs or knock knees), rotational (bones twisted inward or outward), or translational. Left uncorrected, they distribute weight unevenly across joints, leading to early cartilage breakdown and arthritis.
Who Needs Treatment?
Patients presenting with congenital deformities (such as bow legs/genu varum, knock knees/genu valgum, flat foot) or acquired skeletal shifts resulting from malunited fractures or metabolic bone diseases.

Advanced 3D Preoperative Simulation
Preoperative planning is key. We perform computerized calculations to identify the Center of Rotation of Angulation (CORA). This allows us to plan the exact osteotomy (bone cut) location to achieve normal alignment.
Treatment Options
Options range from acute correction (one-stage correction using locking plates or internal nails) to gradual correction using external hexapod computer software systems or guided growth.

Hexapod external fixators (Ortho-SUV and TSF), computerized deformity software, and low-profile locking anatomical plates.
Recovery & Post-Operative Care
For gradual correction, adjustments are performed daily. Bone healing is monitored using sequential X-rays. Weight-bearing and joint range-of-motion exercises are encouraged throughout the process.
